Managed to pick up an M8 on ebay at a really good price. It has @ 22,000 actuations and the requisite dust particles on the sensor (will clean off one day). The M Rokkor 40 is pretty much a Summicron clone and works well on the camera, at just over 50mm, adjusted. I shot it at F8 toward the sky to view the dust (which I knew would be there) and put together four shots in a block to pretend I have a medium format shooter. Since you can see distortion in the fence, you know it ain't medium format, but what the heck. Anyway, Happy Father's Day to all fathers, tomorrow. It may be a little hot but it's another beautiful day to be alive.
