Lego 10179 Millennium Falcon - circa 2007 - clone build & real Lego 75105 basket case from Ebay
Got the rear thrusters built up and attached. Got delayed by getting a Lego 75105 Falcon basket case from Fleabay while looking for missing spare parts. It was in bags and a box and was pro-ported to be missing pieces (it was). I put the pdf plans from the Lego site on a tablet and managed to resurrect it, sans missing pieces. I also added some stuff I had to spice it up a bit. I was going to try to integrate the 75105 interior in some areas of the bigger Falcon but for now will just continue to build out the clone.

A couple candids from Cozumel (Island of Peace) / Panasonic LF1
If you take a cruise to the Caribbean, you likely will stop at Cozumel. The ships can dock here. Many other ports require a tender to go ashore. Not so here. There are tourist shops at the dock. If you walk outside the tourist area there is a lot to see. To go very far or to see a wide variety you will need a vehicle or a tour. I opted to walk to kill time the few times we've stopped here. We've also sailed on the America's Cup 5 meter racing yachts here, which was terrific. Anyway. These shots are from December last. I walked south from the port terminal a little over 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) toward Chankanaab, to look for a swimable beach. I found water access but little beach. The island seems to have a rocky shoal on it's coast in this area.
These folks walked behind me from town all the way to the water access. |
